Steel Thunder Outfitters (www.stoadventures.com ) is Mexico’s, premiere Harley Davidson, Fly & Ride/Excursions (Copper Canyon, Sierra Madre Mountains & Devil’s Backbone Rides to name a few) company. STO also does large Pack Rides from the US border and Beach Parties for up to 800 Harley Davidson or Cruise Line guests.
3. Hook Adventure Travel – Position: Managing Director. Hook Adventure Travel (www.hookadventuretravel.com )is the largest Booking Agent for Anglers Inn & Steel Thunder Outfitters.
4. Ambry Genetics – Position: Founding Investor and Senior Advisor. Ambry Genetics (www.ambrygen.com) is premiere genetic testing company that is the industry leader in testing for Cystic Fibrosis.
5. Beach Boys Good Vibrations specialty restaurant – Position: Founding Investor & Advisor. This 16,000 sq. ft. restaurant featuring the Beach Boys theme will be opened in 2010 at the Treasure Island Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
My wife, Kim and I met Randy and Molly Kight on a Caribbean Cruise in November, 2008. Steel Thunder Outfitters was a vendor with High Seas Rally who has been hosting cruises for Harley Davidson couples for the last 8 years. On board the Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines they host 7 day cruises to the Caribbean, Mexican Riviera and Alaska with Hawaii and the Panama Canal on the drawing board. On this particular cruise they were hosting about 1000 Harley Davidson couples and STO was a vendor. Molly and Randy ran with our STO group and we became fast friends. We also learned about “Randy’s Grub Rub”! Sounded good to us!
Steel Thunder Outfitter Outfitters throws the day party for High Seas Rally on the Mexican Riviera Cruise when they land in our home port of Mazatlan, Mexico. Billy Chapman, the owner of Anglers Inn and Steel Thunder Outfitters invited Randy and Molly to his 2 Annual “Billy’s Beach Party” in March of 2009 as his guests. Please visit the STO web site to view first-hand the photos and video of last year’s party. They came, partied and contributed as they arrived prepared to show us “Randy’s Grub Rub” up close and personal! No problem for us as we were hosting 300 hungry Harley Davidson couples on the beach at the Holiday Inn SunSpree Resort. To make a long story short, “Randy’s Grub Rub” blew the culinary taste buds of our discriminating guests! Randy and Molly and the “Grub Rub” were a positive addition to Billy’s Beach Party.
In May Kim and I, plus an entourage of family, guests and entertainers (including Molly and Kim) hooked up for the Santa Maria, Motorcycle Madness Rally. It was my goal to invite rally attendees and vendors to a Steel Thunder Outfitters/“Randy’s Grub Rub” BBQ. They came and during the festivities I had the opportunity to tell them about the 14 Day, STO Epic Border Crossing and Pack Ride scheduled for April 2010 to Mazatlan and the 3 Annual Billy’s Beach Party. By the way, Randy and Molly are real workers and they have been instrumental in getting folks to join the ride!
To say that the BBQ was successful would be the understatement of the year. The event was seamless thanks to Randy and Molly and their team of cooks and workers. They set up the hall, cooked, entertained, served and cleaned up! No problem for me! All Kim and I had to do was to encourage our guests to invest $8,840/couple to have the Ride/Rally vacation of a lifetime! Done deal!
Now I will tell you about “Randy’s Grub Rub” and the cuisine in general. I had never tried sweetbreads before and they were off-the-chain good. In addition to the excellent Tri-Tip and sausages Randy, made some beans that were to die for! Actually, our guests were standing in line begging for to-go plates. That should tell you the food was awesome! Randy, Molly, their son Christopher and their team of amigas and amigos were fantastic. They took care of everything!
This couple has the work ethics to get any task accomplished and the Grub Rub is a culinary experience of the highest order. When we throw an event, if they are available, Randy and Molly will be at our side.
I unequivocally recommend Randy and his Grub Rub for any event where you want to impress your guests!
